PatternStream marries together elements from two competing hierarchies in a clear easy-to-manage system: data structure versus page layout.
     Each SQL query and the rows it returns are contained in a "folder". Targets get defined and attached to folders. Document targets are produced in a FrameMaker document; log targets are written to a text file. This object-oriented, icon-based development environment provides transparency and easy maintenance.
